Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

Saturday, October 4th, 12:00pm - 2:00pm: Native Plant Garden Planting + Weeding

As part of our Climate Solutions Week, help us prepare our native plant restoration site for winter! Join us at our adopted pocket park and shade shelter along the Bitterroot Branch of the bike trail (6th & Ronan) for weeding and planting native plugs. All volunteers will receive a native plant plug to take home! Sign up to volunteer HERE.

Wednesday, October 8th & Thursday, October 9th, 9:00am - 5:00: Tree Planting at Sentinel High School*

*Note: Please sign up to volunteer only if you have experience planting trees! This planting event has many Sentinel student and faculty volunteers. The teacher coordinating the event has asked that outside volunteers who sign up have tree planting experience, so they will be able to act as planting "advisors" throughout the day.

Join Sentinel High School and community partners as we plant thirty trees on the Sentinel High School campus. Planting will take place Wednesday, October 8th from 9am - 5pm and Thursday, October 9th, from 9am until we're finished! Tree planting experience required. Sign up to volunteer HERE.

Wednesday, October 15th, 9:00am - 5:00: Tree Planting in Franklin to the Fort

Trees for Missoula is planting 20 public trees at several residences in the Franklin to the Fort neighborhood, with assistance from our City Urban Forestry partners. Planting will take place on Wednesday, October 15th. We'll start at 9 AM, but we welcome you to join us for all or part of the day. Sign up to volunteer HERE.
