Bike Month at the Trees for Missoula Celebration Station and Weed Pull!

  • Shade Shelter 2 1101 S 6th St W Missoula, MT, 59801 United States (map)

Celebrate Bike Month and join Trees for Missoula as we cheer on non-motorized commuters along the Bitterroot Trail! We will be offering bananas and encouragement to commuters on May 21 - National Bike to Work Day!

And while we are there, LET’S PULL WEEDS! In 2018, over 500 native grasses were planted by Willard High School students and TFM volunteers following the installation of the shade shelter. Unfortunately, weeds have also claimed this area and need to be pulled to allow the native grasses space to thrive and compete.

Trees for Missoula will supply weed pulling tools. If you have your own, feel free to bring them along with a pair of work gloves!

The Trees for Missoula Celebration Station will be located at the shade shelter at Ronan St. and S. 6th St. W.
